Mission Statement
The mission of the TJB is to provide a forum for a dialogue to advance teaching excellence through research across the disciplines in business. To this end, the TJB welcomes manuscripts from all ACBSP individual members. The goal is to facilitate a linkage between teaching and research at member institutions.
Focus & Scope
The Transnational Journal of Business (TJB) is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary and international journal published by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The TJB publishes manuscripts that link teaching and research to enhance student learning outcomes. More specifically, the Journal is interested in interdisciplinary research that promotes teaching excellence in the various academic disciplines of business to include all theoretical and applied domains.
Managing Editor
Dr. Justin Matus, Managing Editor of Transnational Journal of Business, joined ACBSP in August 2016. He is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Matus is an associate professor at the Sidhu School of Business at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Dr. Matus has served as an ACBSP accreditation team member and chair of several site visits. He has also successfully mentored several schools through the ACBSP accreditation process and he is also an experienced Middle States evaluator.
Dr. Matus has been an active participant in ACBSP Region 2 for approximately 10 years. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the Board of Trustees at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He previously served on the Cincinnati Board of Health and also served as president of the Mid America Health Care Executives, St. Louis. Prior to his academic career, he served as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy.
